     Van Industries now offers a hi-temp ceramic thermal barrier coating for use on exhaust components. The advantages of using this coating are good looks, and most important better performance. Our hi-temp coating is applied inside and out for excellent rust protection, reduced under hood temps, and better exhaust scavenging. All coatings are designed for great adhesion at exhaust gas temps reaching 1600 degrees F.

    INTERNAL ENGINE COATINGS

    The application of applying dry film lubricant to engine bearings, valve springs, cam lobes, lifters, rocker arms or any where friction robs horsepower. Increases part life and applies very thin coating, that does not effect clearances or balancing. Also available are thermal dispersant coatings which rapidly disperses heat away from the coated area. Great for oil pans, intakes and brakes.

     For you nitrous guys, we have a ceramic metallic coating which is a thermal barrier used for the top of your pistons, valve faces, and cylinder head combustion chambers. This coating works will for nitrous, turbo, supercharger, or engines running higher volumes of fuel and/or high compression ratios. This coating reduces part temperature and keeps heat in the combustion chamber longer through the power stroke resulting in increased torque and horsepower. It has also been know to reduce fuel consumption.
