WHAT IS A WATERJET CUTTER?
Aptly named, a water jet is a precision cutting machine that utilizes a 60,000 psi stream (or jet) of water to cut a virtually endless array of materials. For most materials, fine particles of garnet are added to the water stream and the cut is made by ultra-high speed erosion. For softer materials, water alone is sufficient to produce a quality cut.
